The Jews were ordered to hand over all their warm clothes, furs, wool items and skiing outfits. These were to be transferred for use of German soldiers in the eastern front. The Jews were allowed to keep one warm item per person. This decree, in addition to the fact that no clothing rations were issued to Jews from the beginning of the war, was another step in the impoverishment of the Jews.
